Rules & Regulations:

You are cordially invited to submit your application for Downriver Pride Sponsorship. The event is held in the central business district of Wyandotte, Michigan. Please review the attached rules and regulations. Your application will be reviewed by qualified staff, and you will be notified via email of your status in the event. All vendor setup components shall be inspected by the City of Wyandotte Fire Department to ensure compliance with local laws, regulations and to ensure safety and security of all participants. Additional information regarding Tent Inspection and Transient Vendor Spaces are 10’ x 10’ approximately (the average size of most tents) and will be placed directly next to another tent. The Wyandotte Fire Marshal has mandated that generators and/or kerosene lights are not allowed. Generators in violation of this restriction may be confiscated until the end of the show. No merchandise is allowed outside of booth area. Booths must be kept neat and attractive at all times during the event. Absolutely all inventory, boxes, artwork, chairs, etc. must be contained within your booth space and cannot interfere with adjacent exhibits or walkways in anyway. Vendors expressly agree to comport themselves in a respectful and cooperative manner. Any conduct deemed inappropriate by Conz Productions LLC staff and Downriver Pride staff may lead to expulsion from future Conz Productions LLC events. Additionally, vendors may be required to leave the event without entitlement to a refund. It is imperative to note that Downriver Pride is a family-friendly occasion, and vendors commit to aligning their offerings with the thematic nature of the event. Furthermore, vendors are obligated to adhere to all directives provided by staff and uniformed security pertaining to site safety and regulations. Hawking and any form of guest interaction not confined to your booth are strictly prohibited. This policy is implemented to preserve the guest experience throughout Downriver Pride. Vendors who decline to cooperate and engage in disruptive behavior toward Conz Productions LLC staff, City of Wyandotte Staff, Wyandotte Municipal Services Staff, other vendors, Downriver Pride Volunteers, and members of the community may be required to leave the event without a refund and could face disqualification from participating in future Conz Productions LLC events. Disruptive behavior encompasses actions such as swearing, screaming, acts of aggression, threats, or any conduct deemed disruptive by Conz Productions LLC, the City of Wyandotte, and Winter Market in Wyandotte Staff. Given the nature of this event as a celebration of LGBTQIA+ Pride, any form of discrimination or demeaning behavior towards individuals in attendance, working, or volunteering at Downriver Pride is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. In the event of a substantiated instance of discriminatory conduct, you may be asked to LEAVE WITHOUT A REFUND and may face BANNING from all Conz Productions LLC events, including future Downriver Pride Events. Legal action may also be pursued if warranted. Participants are accountable for their personal property and must provide their own tents, tables, chairs, and change. Vendors are responsible for obtaining insurance and ensuring the protection of their items and displays. Conz Productions LLC, City of Wyandotte, and Downriver Pride staff and volunteers assume no responsibility for any damage to items or displays. Participants are strictly prohibited from handling another participant's property unless explicit permission is granted by the owner of the goods. Participants are required to furnish their own tent, chairs, tables, and other display equipment. Only battery-operated lights are permissible for showcasing work. As all booths are situated outdoors, tents must be equipped with a minimum of 40 pounds of weight on each corner. Staking into the pavement or securing tents to poles, hydrants, or other objects is strictly prohibited. Participants are advised to contact the market staff before the event to obtain more information about appropriately weighting their tents. The Jury, Conz Productions LLC staff, and City of Wyandotte staff retain the right to reject items during the show that are deemed in poor taste, as determined solely at the discretion of the jury, Conz Productions LLC staff, and City of Wyandotte staff. Additionally, items not meeting the required quality or product category, as submitted for review, may be declined. Vendors not in compliance with Downriver Pride rules and regulations will be obligated to leave the show promptly without receiving a refund. Given that this is a family-friendly event, it is imperative that all vendors maintain age-appropriate content within their booths suitable for ALL AGES. Vehicles are permitted for unloading during specific times upon acceptance. Once the unloading is complete, the vehicle must be promptly removed from the site. All vehicles must be clear of the site by 10 am. Re-entry of vehicles for loading is permissible only after confirmation from our staff that it is safe to do so. Vendors seeking reasonable accommodations to keep their cars, trucks, or trade vehicles close or adjacent to their vendor areas must make a formal request. However, Conz Productions LLC, and Downriver Pride staff reserve the right to reject such requests if they are deemed too dangerous, disruptive, or unnecessary.
