Dates & Times:

June 21st and 22nd 2024 from 12pm to 11pm

You are warmly invited to submit your application for Downriver Pride 2024! This vibrant event takes place in the central business district of Wyandotte, Michigan. Kindly review the attached rules and regulations. Our qualified staff will carefully review your application, and you will be promptly notified of your status via email. We appreciate your interest in being part of this exciting celebration!

The City of Wyandotte Fire Department will conduct inspections on all components of vendor setups to verify adherence to local laws and regulations, ensuring the safety and security of all participants. Furthermore, tent inspections and transient vendor spaces, which are typically 10' x 10' (an average tent size), will be positioned directly adjacent to another tent. Merchandise is strictly prohibited from being displayed outside the designated booth area. Booths are required to maintain a tidy and appealing appearance throughout the entire event. All inventory, including boxes, artwork, chairs, etc., must be confined within the assigned booth space and should not impede adjacent exhibits or walkways in any manner. Vendors commit to conducting themselves in a respectful and cooperative manner. Any behavior considered inappropriate by Conz Productions LLC, the City of Wyandotte, or the Downriver Pride staff may result in expulsion from future Conz Productions LLC Events. The festivals prioritize a family-friendly atmosphere, and vendors are expected to align their offerings with the event's theme. Additionally, vendors are required to comply with all directives from staff and uniformed security concerning site safety and regulations. Vendors who decline to cooperate and exhibit disruptive behavior toward Conz Productions LLC staff, City of Wyandotte Staff, Wyandotte Municipal Services staff, other vendors, Downriver Pride Volunteers, and members of the community may be instructed to leave the event without a refund. Moreover, they may face disqualification from participating in future Conz Productions LLC events. Disruptive behavior encompasses actions such as swearing, screaming, acts of aggression, threats, or any conduct deemed disruptive by Conz Productions LLC and Downriver Pride Staff. Engaging in hawking and any form of guest interaction outside the confines of your booth is strictly prohibited. This policy is implemented to uphold the overall guest experience throughout the Festival. All vendor interactions and promotional activities should be conducted within the designated booth area to ensure a cohesive and enjoyable atmosphere for all attendees. Participants are responsible for their personal property and must provide their own tents, tables, chairs, and change. Vendors are responsible for securing insurance and protecting their items and displays. Conz Productions LLC, the City of Wyandotte, and the Downriver Pride staff assume no responsibility for any damage to items or displays. Participants are strictly prohibited from touching another participant's property unless explicit permission is granted by the owner of the goods. Artists are responsible for supplying their own tent, chairs, tables, and display equipment. Battery-operated lights may be used to showcase artwork, and all booths are located outdoors. Tents must have a minimum of 40 pounds of weight on each tent leg and staking into the pavement or securing tents to poles, hydrants, or other objects is strictly prohibited. For more information on properly weighting tents, vendors are encouraged to contact the Festival staff before the event. Professional-grade tents are required for this event, and the use of camping tents or any tent larger or smaller than a 10x10 tent is prohibited. Vendors with improperly weighted tents will be required to deconstruct the tent and/or leave the show, with no refund. The Jury and Conz Productions LLC staff maintain the right to reject items during the show if they are deemed to be in poor taste, solely at the discretion of the jury and Conz Productions LLC staff. Items not meeting the expected quality or product category submitted for review may be subject to rejection. Vendors not in compliance with Festival rules and regulations will be required to leave the show immediately, and no refund will be issued. Vendors acknowledge their commitment to be present for the entire festival and to be punctual on all scheduled days. Vendors who fail to attend on the day of the event will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellation made within 30 days or less prior to the event will result in a 55% refund of the booth fee. Vendors canceling 14 days or less before the event will receive a 15% refund of their booth fee. Cancellations made within 7 days or less from the start of the event will not be eligible for a refund of the booth space. Accepted vendors may bring in vehicles for unloading during specified times. Once unloaded, vehicles must be promptly removed from the site. All vehicles need to be clear of the site by 11 am. Vendors may return with their vehicles for loading only after our staff has indicated that it is safe to do so. Please note that there are no assigned parking spaces for vendors at Downriver Pride. Vendors are advised to park in City Public parking lots. For any parking-related concerns or special accommodations, please contact Conz Productions LLC ahead of the festival. Wyandotte Police may issue tickets for driving, standing, parking, or any other violations. It is essential to comply with traffic and parking regulations. Conz Productions LLC is not responsible for any tickets issued to individuals before, during, or after the times of the festival. It is the responsibility of participants to adhere to all applicable laws and regulations enforced by local authorities. If you do not have insurance, please refer to the attached waiver form to complete and submit with your application. Each vendor is obligated to furnish Conz Productions LLC with a current and valid copy of all licenses and permits essential for their operation, adhering to the stipulations set forth by the Wayne County Health Department and the State of Michigan. If you need to apply to the Wayne County Health Department for a license, tell them you want to make application for a two-day food vending special license. The Wayne County Health Department will inspect your area in the morning, first day of the market. Conz Productions LLC retains the right to make deletions in your menu selection to prevent the duplication of products throughout the markets. Although it is highly uncommon for us to take this action, if such an issue arises, you will be contacted by our team via a call or email to discuss your menu. Subcontracting of any booth is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized by Conz Productions LLC. If there is an interest in subcontracting, you must contact Conz Productions LLC in advance for permission. Neither Conz Productions LLC nor the City of Wyandotte will be held liable in any way for disputes that may arise between the food concession applicant and any subcontractors involved. Food vendors are required to regularly remove their own trash during the event and clean their designated space at the end of each day. Failure to meet cleanliness requirements may result in the vendor being prohibited from participating in any future Conz Productions LLC events. All materials must be completely removed at the conclusion of the event, and all operations, including storage, preparation, and cleanup, must remain within the assigned booth space. Vendors exceeding their allocated booth space will be charged per square foot for the additional area required. It is essential to remove grease containers from the site at the end of each day, and vendors are explicitly warned not to pour grease down the sewer drains, as doing so will result in a $500 fine from the Conz Productions LLC staff. Additionally, vendors are responsible for providing covers for their electrical cords and water hoses, with rugs not being accepted and subject to inspection throughout the festival. In the event that on-site security is provided overnight, Conz Productions LLC, its staff, the security company, and its staff shall bear no responsibility for any loss or damage to items.
